I bought a squad of Close Combat Terminators in anticipation of the upcoming price rise. Every Space Marine collection needs some Terminators and I heard that CC Termis are the hotness. I feel that regular Terminators would fit the Ultramarine flavour better, but I had already painted a squad of them some years ago for my old Marine army, so I decided to paint Assault Terminators this time.
I also added some new colours to my ever growing collection of paint (must have over 150 pots now…). The Scurf, Jade and Foul Green triad from Vallejo is a really sweet set of greens. I plan to use a lot of different shades of green for my upcoming Skaven army. I also bought a Gale Force 9 Bonesaw that should become handy for some conversion work I plan for the future.

Right 🙂 But I guess it will take some time until I get around painting them.
@Chris
Thanks but if I get a Black Reach Termi Squad I would leave probably leave them the way they are for variety. But at the moment one Terminator squad will be sufficent for me 😉
Just a quick suggestion to get the most out of your box of Terminators. The Close Combat Terminator box contains 10 sets of arms (5 Thunder Hammer/Storm Shield and 5 Lightning Claw). All you're missing is five Terminator bodies. If you buy a set of the Terminators from the Assault on Black Reach starter set (usually $15-20 on eBay) you can cut the pegs off of their torsos and have another five Terminators at a pretty steep discount.
I envy you, sir, and look forward to seeing these guys painted up. There's something exciting about a new box of minis
