I hadn’t much hobby stuff on my christmas wish list this year, mainly because I’ve already got a huge pile of unpainted models. However I’ve got a Feldherr Mini bag from Feldherr with a 60 mm thick foam pluck tray in which I will put some models, paints and brushes in case I need to take some stuff outside. Then I’ve got a new set of daVinci 1526Y Harbin Kollinsky brushes, sizes 2/0, 1, 2 and 3. These are my workhorse brushes, I use them for applying base coats and washes while keeping my W&Ns for detail work. My old ones were in really bad and used condition so I needed new ones. You can find out more about the brushes I use in this post.
What did you get for Christmas?

@Stahly:
Perhaps you should have a look at other manufacturers such as Rolljordan Miniatures (http://www.rolljordan.com/public/store/index.php), Impact! Miniatures (http://impactminiatures.com/), Neomic Miniatures (a german one: http://www.neomics.de/).
By the way, I really enjoy reading your blog. Continue with your extraordinary work 😉

Hi Jan, recently I didn't paint for a tournament but for a little painting competition. Blood Bowl was never strong around my area plus all the models look rather dated, they certainly have their charms but not my cup of tea unfortunately.
@ Jerico
Thanks mate, I'm all about painting Skaven at the moment but I will constantly expand my Eldar (and Ultramarines) as well – they just need to release those damn new jetbikes!! 😉
I was fortunate to get some Lord of the Rings Barrow Wights from my wife, and a nice new airbrush setup.
I've really enjoyed your Eldar and encourage you to keep up the great work!
Emperor's Son… and for the Three Holy Kings (I am originally from Spain, but living in Mannheim) I will get the Death Guard.
I like your blog a lot and I hope you post the figure you are painting for the tournament.
Do you have painted anything belonging to Blood Bowl?
Best,
Jan
