Storming onto the pitch for the third quarter are three new players for the Deep Sick Divers. A Bloater and two Rotters! Check out the team logo I drew and all nine players after the jump!
Here it is! The Team emblem. Following the nautical theme of the team I’ve plonked a diver’s helmet on a Nurgling. I’m really happy with it. Below you can see my original concept sketch, I stayed pretty close to the original.
Some of you may know I own FDM 3D printers (it’s how I make my products to sell) they’re great machines but not so good for printing miniatures. Stahly keeps telling me to get the Deep Sick Diver logo 3D printed and used as a token. If I ever buy a resin printer, I might just do that. Of course I could just use Shapeways. Hmmm that would be pretty awesome. Dammit Stahly, as if I haven’t got enough to do haha.
I can’t believe it’s been three month’s already. That’s nine players completed for me. I was looking back over everyone’s posts so far and was really impressed with everyone’s work. I’m can’t wait to see their work this month. I’ve also been checking out #TaleofTuesdays and #paintyourgames to see the progress the community has been making. We’ll be sharing these on Thursday so check back then to see some awesome Bloodbowl content.
What’s that, you want to get involved?
You can join us on the pitch by sharing your work on social media platforms (twitter, Instagram or facebook) using the hashtags:
#taleoftuesdays #taleofpainters #paintyourgames
Make sure your account is public (in case of facebook, set your #taleoftuesdays posts to public).
We want to engage with all our fellow coaches, so we’ll have an eye on these hashtags and stop by for comments and criticism. Every now and then we also feature your finished players here on Tale of Painters.
From all of your teams that were painted during Tale of Tuesdays, we pick our favourite team to win a Wayland Games or Element Games voucher to the amount of a plastic Blood Bowl team box so you can start painting another team right away.
We hope to see a lot of cool Blood Bowl teams painted! Until next Tuesday…
haha – you're not helping. Lol.
3D printed logos to use as tokens … now that's an idea!
This is turning into a thing that's going to happen… where on earth am I going to find the time lol.
Did you update your older models with Blood Angels Red as Glaze (instead Bloodletter Glaze) for the red spots?
I can't see any difference to your newer models.
Still trying to find replacements for some Citadel Glazes… (Scale 75 Inktense Yellow is pretty close to Lamenters Yellow Glaze)

Thanks a lot, we appreciate any help to continue and grow Tale of Painters 🙂
You know a 3D printed logo would really look good on the centre of a selfmade stadium…just sayin'… 😉
