Thanks to Sandro from Spieleland Hamburg I got this year’s Games Day model, a quite nice Skaven Warlord. I thought it might be a good idea to take some pictures of this model unassembled, so fellow Skaven lovers will know what to expect. Sadly the shield isn’t seperate but has the forearm attached. This might create stronger bond once you glue it in place but makes it hard to convert the model. Personally I feel the shield is a little bit to big.
Also thanks to Rafael from minimanie, he wanted to bring me a Warlord as well. Check out his blog, he has some extremely nice Space Wolves amongst others!

Stahly is the founder of Tale of Painters. He lives in Craftworld Hamburg, located in the north of Germany, where he walks the Path of the Graphic Designer. He transitioned from Lego to Games Workshop models at the tender age of 11 and didn't look back ever since. He is known for bold colour schemes and sharp edge highlights, which he paints with typical German perfectionism (one of the reason he is such a notoriously slow painter).
I'll be getting mine very soon along with my ticket for Games Day UK.I don't play fantasy but look forward to having a go at painting this.
