Hey there, had to work til very late this week (again), and on the weekend, too (again), but yesterday I lifted my paint brush and finished the skin. Almost there! How do you like them? I feel the skin looks much better than on my Abomination…

Stahly is the founder of Tale of Painters. He lives in Craftworld Hamburg, located in the north of Germany, where he walks the Path of the Graphic Designer. He transitioned from Lego to Games Workshop models at the tender age of 11 and didn't look back ever since. I think they look great. The hell pit is a little pinker in the recesses, this could be because there are more creases, or that they're deeper. I don't think it's a problem, because both projects are impressive.
You're right, Stahly, the skin does look better than the Abomination's; there seems to be a little more contrast. Though, I can't tell if that's b/c it's on a smaller canvas or b/c you've done something different with your shading/highlighting process. Either way, they're looking good.
