I remember painting these one evening during the summer in one sitting. It was a fun night. Beers, the movie 300 and plenty of cigarettes 🙂 Not that I’m trying to promote working this way but sometimes it has to be done. And the mini actually turned out pretty nice to. Anyone else tried painting whilst having a drink? Was it successful or did it end with the mini flying out the window?

I meant to say with White airbrushed over GW metallic paint 🙂
Wow, those look amazing! What colors did you for chaplain Ivanus Enkomi?
It was basically as I remember the basic metallics from GW with airbrushed over them.
I always like to have a drink while painting. And although it might sound worrying, my hands are just that much steadier after a glass of wine or some beer. 😉
I tend to focus more :)Its a good excuse though 🙂
Stunning work you truly are a hobby hero! It must be great finally finding a style which is *yours*!
Hey thanks Minitrol and everyone else for the positive feedbacks
I may have taken a bit too much cough syrup once and painted up a really nice Blood Angels Razorback for my kid. "Creative juices" right?
I reckon the designer was watching 300 when he designed them!!
