Happy New Year all to 2013. I hope 2013 will bring as many great models as 2012 did. Today I show two of the most recent models I painted over the Christmas holidays which was Forge World Daemon Prince of Nurgle and Typhus. I used GW’s Dragons wings that I pinned into the back neckline of the Daemon.I had to cut away a Nurgling to be able to achieve this. The model was a complicated one to paint. I finished him at around 2 AM new years day morning. I must have been the only one on my street still working as most others I could see from my window seemed to be shambling around in the new year spirit ie. smashed :). Let me know what you think.

No word? 🙁
Hi I used a very similar method as awesomepaintjob used on his video on painting deathguard on youtube.
Thanks man 🙂
Oh, also I'm really interested in trying to get the same black leather effect on the wings. I was thinking a Vallejo Satin Varnish over washed black?
Your models are fantastic 🙂
I would really appreciate any advice you can give on which colours you used for the layers. I am just starting out on the path to Papa Nurgle myself and would like to use a variation on those to fit in better with the camo on my fallen guardsmen than green would.
The demon prince is truly disgusting man! Great job! I was recently looking at the model as I wanted to paint some chaos. Seeing this just made me want to buy it all the more!!
Hey all, Thanks for the feedback. The wings are indeed the standard dragon one as Max pointed out. The model changed a great deal whilst painting.Originally I started him more a darker green.But kept adding new layers which eventually made him a lot paler.
@Faolan: Standard dragon wings.
Really nailed it with the paintjob!
I love Typhus and want to paint one just like that, you have to tell us how you did it!
epic work
awesome

Would love to see more tutorials on here.
A tutorial of these would of been fantastic or is that just me being greedy
Lovely stuff! Or should that be "gross"? Either way, excellent work.
Which set of dragon wings is that, the Dark Elf black dragon?
