Update time on my Archon. Despite the heavy workload at my job I managed to do some painting. If I wouldn’t work 12 hour days at the moment, the model would have been finished already but it can’t be helped. Christmas holidays are soon. Anyways, I’m quite proud of the blendings on the cape – check out the picture after the jump. I used the blending technique Garfy teached me when I visited him in London: I mixed every layer with a generous amount of Vallejo Glaze Medium and slowly built up the paint layers. What do you think?

The blending on the cap is lovely. It's really soft.
Glazing will change your life. I love it.
Not sure about the hair being the exact same colour as the cape. I think if the blue was a different shade of blue it would look more natural. Just personal preference. Awesome painting though.
The cape is lovely 🙂
Coming along nicely! I'm particularly impressed with his cloak! Roughly how much glaze medium did you add – about 1:1?
