While searching for inspiration for my pink pallet for pink
horrors which I am currently working on for one of my commissions, I came
across Slaanesh bikers that I have done earlier this year. This was my take on
the pink theme. It’s kind of muddy pink, as I was trying not to be too obvious
with the usual brighter pink. I think when it will come to the pink horrors I
will try to keep it muddy as well, but lighter, more fleshy pink. What do you
guys think? How do you interpret the slaanesh colours?

Slaanesh was never officially about pink, it was about "garish colors". Also you talk about pink horrors but they are not slaanesh…
Not a fan of the color, but it's still good painting. And hey, where's Doomrider!?
Ha Ha, I just looked up Doomrider as I'm not familiar with the model. He reminds me of Ghost Rider 🙂
I find the choice of colour fascinating. I've never seen such a colour choice before for Slaanesh. That's really cool, because most tings have been done to death in the hobby. Pushing the boundries like this is commendable. I like them.
The boldness of the colour is the point, the colour itself is secondary. Slaanesh would be dissapointed.
Hey thanks all :). I think they are nice, but I kind of understand that the colour isn't a 100% accurate. I think they could also pass as Nurgle at a push 🙂
Awesome as always.
Fluff-wise speaking bright colors are there to stimulate Slaanesh followers – everything except most bright and saturated colors is dull to them. So… fluffwise, they are not very Slaanesh IMHO. But they are excellent models 🙂
Maybe it's how the Slaaneshi see their own bikes?
They look great, but to be honest i thought there was a mistake in the title of your post when i saw Slanesh. For me they look much more Nurgle than Slanesh, with the head of their leader and their brownish/dirty look. For them to look Slanesh, i think brighter/saturated colors should be used. But as i said, great models nonetheless !
