Hey all 🙂 Today I am showing a couple of Skull Cannons of Khorne that I finished a while ago as part of a commission for a large Warhammer Chaos Daemon army. I painted them in a very similar color scheme as I did with the previous Bloodletters that I showed last year. They are all part of the same army. For the reds I used Vallejo model air Mahogany, Italian red and then Scarlet red. The Vallejo Scarlet red is probably one of the brightest reds that Vallejo produces and tends to work well when using a zenithal technique on Khorne models alike. All in all I was happy with these two models and liked the kit as well. Next up is Imperial guards which I’m mighty excited about working on. What do you guys think?

Awesome work. They look brilliant.
Perfect example of why to not use a white background. The extreme contrast between the background and the bloodletters body makes any thing difficult to see, and the white is pushing into the torsos further complicating things.
The white background is fine on my mac. They look good. Its black backgrounds that I have a problem with. Black backgrounds are the perfect way to disguise badly painted models 🙂
How does Vallejo Air metallic colours perform in Airbrush?
Do they need some special precaution?
I usually use Vallejo Airbrush Thinner for thinning paints in airbrush…
Ive not any problems with the metallics they do. The color that always clogs me the most is Vallejo model air white.
Agreed. Vallejo Scarlet Red is really awesome. I was doing Tau with that color, insanely beautiful.
I'm about to start a Dark Angels army, what colour do you use for the turquoise? I want a consistent colour for eyes, plasma coils, and power weapons and that looks amazing.
Hey Skilder, the plasma color is P3 Arcane blue. P3 have quite a lot of nice colors available. Hope that helps 🙂
