Just as planned, I managed to complete painting the bright lance weapon platform over the weekend. I’m quite happy how it turned out. The model is not finished though, as it still needs a couple of transfers. As already laid out in the WIP Hornet posts, I’m designing custom decals of stylized geometric runic patterns for all my Eldar vehicles. The designs need some more fine-tuning though, so for now I’m going to put the weapon platform on the shelf. Next up will be the Hornet again. Stay tuned!

Yes, it was a nice change. Why don't you consider painting a small character model or unit in between your next projects? 😉
Was it nice tackling a simpler model? I sometimes feel like picking up a standalone, small simple model to paint. Everything I'm painting at the moment is either huge or their are large numbers of them.
Great work. look forward to seeing it with custom decals.
