Hey all, today I’m showing a couple of Forge World MKIC Diemos pattern Rhinos that I painted up for my Death Guard army over the Christmas holidays.
The Christmas period is always a fun time for me when it comes to painting as I use the opportunity of the few days I have free to paint my Death Guard army. I’ve been working on it for about 4 years now and it’s almost complete. I only have 50 Plague Cultists to paint and 3 Blight Drones that I’m using as proxy Obliterators. So hopefully by next Christmas they will all be done. I picked the Forge World Rhino’s up a few years ago at Salute which hopefully I plan this year to go to again along with Garfy and DarkJesterLord. It’s a good show and always a excuse to pick up some Forge World models without the shipping cost’s. Any of you guys attending Salute this year?

Awesome painting Job
Wow, you're style really suits post heresy Deathgaurd 🙂
Fantastic! The colors and weathering are done to a very nice effect that show the beginning of Nurgle without the full puss and maggot look. The orange spots of rust also give a nice contrast.
Eew. Sticky! Love it
wow that is an amazing weathering job you've performed on that Rhino, I love how there is chunks just missing out of it as it's been shot at at slowly rots away.
Well done indeed
The weathering is great. I love how you've done them in realistic colors versus the over the top fantasy purples, pea soup green, and pinks we often see.
Hey cheers guys for the feedback. I've had a lot of fun with the models and glad you like them. It's a army that I have been slowly chipping away at and hopefully one day will be playable. I really wanted to keep the whole army looking subtle Nurgle rather than going full on gore. I'm a big fan of the way the FW Imperial Armour books portray them.
