Next on my paint station are some Death Company models for my slowly growing Blood Angels collection. As you might notice, I’ve used a plethora of bits that come not only from the Death Company, BA Tactical Squad and Sternguard kits, there are also a couple of Forge World Mk4 and Mk5 parts in the mix as well. I really like the wealth of bits you can choose from when assembling Space Marine infantry. It enables you to create some really unique and personal models. So how do you like my lot?

Stahly
Stahly hails from Craftworld Germany and has been involved with Warhammer since childhood. He has painted several armies and countless warbands and Kill Teams over the decades, and founded Tale of Painters in 2011. When he's not painting miniatures incredibly slowly, he's testing the latest paints, tools and kits with German precision and a no non-sense attitude.
They look like a motley crew! It will be nice to see them done up.
These are the models that I fear painting the most, it will be interesting to see how you do them.
Ah man, i like all your customization…now the BA have a nice selection of bits for personalization. I hope to see soon some love for the other chapters!
How do you go up with lights with this black? Airbrushing a dark grey and then some standard brushwork?
Just brushwork. Two stages of highlighting, first Eshin Grey then Dawnstone.
