The Vindicare Assassin joins the ranks of my Imperial Army. I think my colour scheme has created quite a unique looking Assassin without straying drastically from ethos of the Assassins.
I had to paint the base and the Assassin separately because the masonry pillar behind him obstructs the back detail of the model. His knife features a tassel. I’ve painted it to match the hair of my Callidus Assassin. Perhaps it’s a lock of her hair to wish him good fortune.
Whilst the bright red gun is pretty idiotic for a sniper, it does tie the model in beautifully to the rest of my army. It also gives him a retro-vibe. I like it, no matter how daft it is.

Maybe you could do a caption competition with him a speech bubble would look perfect 🙂
It looks awesome.
Thanks man, I'm really pleased with this model.
How was the stone pillar painted?
It was drybrushed with sandy colours. I think the base colour was Steel Legion Drab and I drybrushed Zandri Dust and then some lighter colours.
