First part of a few Blood Bowl minis I recently painted for a special little commissoned project. Here we got a bunch of Dwarves and a Halfling Blood Bowl fans.
Really, really fun figures. The sculpts are pretty rough (very old-school stuff), so I wasn’t sure if I’d be able to paint them so they look pretty. Hope I got it right. What do you think?

True true, the quality is secondary 🙂
Thanks for the information Sigur 🙂

@leffengu: Thanks for the comment. The models are proper metal (funny metal too; rather soft, almost like pre-White Metal GW stuff). The quality depends on the sculpt and company who made them. The minis on comixinos.com are from various manufacturers (good thing. All those tiny manufacturers of minis are one of the big strengths of mini wargaming). Some are up there with GW's stuff, others clearly are not. But then again – if you like the mini quality is secondary.
They look very good 😉
Looking on that page (http://www.comixininos.com/) one starts to wonder were I put my BB box 😮
Are these models resin or what?
What about the quality?
Equal to GW/FW or even better?

Thanks for the comment, MDARO! These minis above (and all the upcoming in my next posts) are from various manufacturers, all bought here: http://www.comixininos.com/.
To be honest, I'm one of those people who don't really see the use in GW redoing any of the old "specialist games". Especially in terms of BB, the community's got a good grip on the rules, there are more manufacturers for Fantasy Football minis around than ever before and, while technically sound and this only being a matter of tastes and whatnot, I don't think that current GW would get that much greatness out of the BB theme. (also: I don't like post-1998 Orcs and Goblins. And i'm an Orcs player 😀 ). Of course the surge in interest would be cool and there surely would be high quality minis in such a box, but I'm such an old, jaded person that I prefer GW not meddling in my gaming. 😉 So for BB, Necromunda, Mordheim, Gorkamorka I don't see that much of a pressing reason (for the community) to have the games re-issued by GW with new minis. Epic on the other hand…
They look great! I wish they would do an updated BB like they did with Space Hulk. Imagine the minis. What company are those?
