Hey all. today’s a bit of weird one. I decided to show a group of Blood Angels Scouts and a Forge World Damocles Command Vehicle painted in a camo scheme rather than the usual red.
I painted these for a Blood Angels army that I have been showing bit by bit over the last few days. The owner wanted these 2 units to be different in colour scheme to the rest of the army so that they would stand out and be a bit different than the norm. I like the idea and think it worked well. Rule wise I am guessing he will keep the Damocles Command vehicle hidden back with the Scouts guarding it. I am not a 100% with the rules with the Damocles, but believe it has the Barrage special rule and helps Drop Pods arrive. But don’t quote me on that!! What do you think?

These are seriously cool. Makes me want to do something similar.
Very nice. It's a nod to the rt era days when space marines weren't afraid to put on some camo and sneak around 🙂
I would love to see/do a Space Marine army in camo. I wonder how it would look?
Lovely work and a nice change to Red, fits with its use. It enables an Orby Bombard in 40K, a Orby Bombard strategic asset in Apoc, also re-roll one Reserve Roll per turn and re-roll any Deep Strike Scatter if Damocles is on the table. Great unit to use (if FW units allowed!) and I have one. I sit it at the back in cover as it doesnt need LoS. The screen of Scouts is a good idea, especially if this sits on the home objective.
Sounds like a great set of rules to me!!
