Hey all, today I thought I would show some Horus Heresy Death Guard models that I am working on. The legs, shoulder pads and arms are all from the recent GW Horus Heresy box set.
Where as the heads and bodies are from Forge World upgrade packs, as are the transfers. I am quite enjoying working on these as it’s a nice change. I have used some basic chipping on the armour using a hairspray technique that I often use on vehicles. I also left the bolters off so that I could get to the details on the torso’s. I still need to weather the models up, finish the bases and define certain areas. But, will only weather them a little. So hopefully I will have them up finished in the next few days. What do you think so far?

Best I have seen. Bravo!!
Terrific work, a really nice reflection of how I imagined they looked before the whole legion came down with something. A look that is simple, functional and still arrogantly white!
Did you do a light drybrush of chrome on the white?
I did not use Chrome on the white. The white is mainly made up from Lifecolor stone wall and light stone.
They look fantastic so far. Nice models also.
Very nice, I'm personally more of a fan of the clean look, so I like that you are toning it down compared to other death guard players. Might be hard to be hands down the best, though definitely in the conversation, Dave Taylor gives you a pretty good run for your money 😉
Dave Taylors are very nice, just had a look.
World Eaters? Ah no.. Death Guard 😛
These are shaping up to be the best HH Death Guard I've ever seen. I really love the tone of the armour, not too brownish as you usually see.
Hey cheers Stahly!
Seconded!
