Hi all, Banzai1000 here with some progress on my Genestealer Cults Armies on Parade project. The above-shown Aberrant is the latest model I finished. Of course, there is a lot more to come, but I am a slow painter going for each model separately.
How about everyone out there? Are you painting your armies in batches or units or as single models? Let us know in the comment section…

This is hot, especially the skin. Would you mind sharing the recipe? The purple and yellow shades playing off each other is astounding and the mind runs rampant with potential applications for other projects…
Thx! I used Flayed One Flesh washed with Genestealer Purple (mixed with water as to have a wash). For the darkest areas I mixed in Druchii Violet. Then I applied Flayed One Flesh again in thin layers mixed with Pallid Witch Flesh. For the green tone I used green and yellow glazes in very thin layers.
I paint mostly individual models. It can be stressful, as it is hard without batch painting to put a fully painted force on the table. Painting is just as important as part of the hobby to me as playing though, so I try not to rush.
Right you are!
