Abaddon is moving along slowly. I’ve been distracted from painting with the theft of my motorbike, but that’s being resolved (already ordered a new one – pic after the jump). I’m heading off to Warhammer World for the Forge World Show on Sunday with Henry from Four go to War. I will take some pics and share them on the blog next week. Hopefully this trip will help me get back into a painting routine.
I decided to give Abaddon an aged white/grey hair. I’ve given it a blue-ish tint to tie in with the space wolf armour on the base and trophy rack. I’m trying to keep the number of colours to a minimum.
This is the bike I’m getting. CB600FA Hornet. 96bhp, top speed just over 140mph and 0-60 in 3.6 seconds. What do you think?

I think you're going to be pleasantly surprised when you see the finished result. I've covered the Space Wolf in sand weathering powder to blend it into the base more. It's not as stark.
hmmm, think i would have chosen a darker colored space marine, in total it's a bit too bright for my taste.
Quality of the paintjob is great.
Very nice model here. Love the colours you've got going. It would have been cool if the space wolves head was in his hand and set aflame though.
Nice bike and great model (both)…
