Ahhh I see now putting the model together its quite hard to do it in bits. So its a tough call on painting.
Yep but for me the better way to deal with it. Even better when using an airbrush ?. You might have problems on the backpack when using the smoke parts, so keep an eye on that?
The wings are good to be attached later i think….

How you finding that without using a airbrush? I'm about to start mine soon and would be terrified with just brushes. It reminds me of Nagash.
