On Tale of Painters we are in a Shadespire frenzy! Like Banzai1000, I picked up the Sepulchral Guard set. I really loved the former Vampire Counts range, especially the Skeletons (now known as Deathrattle), and I was pleased to see that their aesthetic didn’t change in the Age of Sigmar. So far, I’ve painted a test model (sorry, it’s a bit out of focus but you get the idea) and will now proceed painting the remaining six models in two batches. I went for rich purple and black as spot colours. How do you like my scheme? And how are your warbands coming along?

Is it weird that after seeing the movie coco with my kid i want to do mine up as mexican day of the dead skellys?
Love it so far! Did you spray them all gray first and then paint the bone color back on?
Yes, I'm using Uniform Grey primer from The Army Painter and then paint over with Formula P3 Jack Bone for the bone. Jack Bone is a great bone colour, right between Ushabti Bone and Rakarth Flesh – not as yellowish as Ushabti, but also not as greyish as Rakarth. And it covers rather nicely.
Have you tried shading your bone colors by adding P3 Cryx Bane Base to the mix? Works wonders if you're after a slight greenish hue for that ethereal look.
Really love these models, yours will look great??
