As I had to work on Saturday, I had only yesterday for my Abomination. I painted the brass and metal on the upper part and started basecoating the warp stone and the bones and teeth. A never ending story I know guys, but these huge Fantasy kits they’re releasing lately are really hard to tackle with a busy working life…

I feel the flesh is a bit flat, but that can't be helped, I want to replicate the same technique I used for the infantry but I just found it doesn't translate that well for a model this big. I hope the rich brass hues and the glowing warp stone makes up for it.
Superb work, the skin tone is particularly good, in a disturbing, fleshy, kind of way. Looking forward to seeing how this progresses.
I feel you man. I bought a Terrorgeist and a Mortis Engine to paint up for fun, and just looking and the sprues has me realing! These recent giant kits in the Fantasy range are putting just about every model in 40k to shame, haha.
Wow wonderful work I've had mine on my shelf for months (with most of my skaven to be fair) been meaning to start it for a while but as you say work can really get in the way sometimes but this is really making me want to take a stab at mine.
