Hi everyone, this one’s been a long time coming. Finally after so long I’ve finished another member of the Steelhearts war band from Warhammer Underworlds Shadespire. I present to you Angharad Brightshield.
I’ve actually been meaning to finish painting her for quote some time but as always for us painters, newer projects got in the way. But finally I had a free time slot to finish painting her. I really wanted to focus on the blending of the armor but also try something I’ve never tried before which is the Lightning effects on true metallics which Lecoqadoodledo pulled off on so many occasion originally inspired by Paul Norton who’s one of the newer Eavy Metal painters.
Overall I’m quite happy with the end result but it took me such a long time to get there as it was a little trial and error for me as to how the lightning should look. I did get some good feedback so I’ll be making some minor adjustments when painting new models in the future.
I hope you all really like her as it was fun painting her. Let me know what you think in the comments below. Until next time happy hobbying and take care!
