The second batch of the Thorns of the Briar Queen. Bases are complete, and I did most of the basecoats and shading. A couple of highlights is all that is needed to get them finished. I have a bit of a hard time to find some hobby time at the moment because of various real-life obligations, which is why my painting is so slow, despite the Thorns’ “easy” paint scheme of zenithal airbrush highlighting then adding some details, mostly with Contrast paints. Nevertheless, I’m looking forward to have these completed, I really love the Nighthaunt range.

Stahly
Stahly is the founder of Tale of Painters. He lives in Craftworld Hamburg, located in the north of Germany, where he walks the Path of the Graphic Designer. He transitioned from Lego to Games Workshop models at the tender age of 11 and didn't look back ever since. He is known for bold colour schemes and sharp edge highlights, which he paints with typical German perfectionism (one of the reason he is such a notoriously slow painter).
Such a clean paint job, lovely.
These are some of my favorite models. Would love a tutorial on how you get that amazing purple!
Beautiful. This color scheme works big time.
