The mad-capped, mildewed maniacs of the Gitmobs are back. Following the Gitmob army set, the kits and the Gloomspite Gitz battletome are now being released individually. In this review, we’ll take a look at the plastic frames and build options for the two new centrepiece models – the Snarlboss / Frazzlegit Shaman on War-wheela, and the mighty Doom Diver Catapult.

The new Gloomspite Gitz and Gitmob releases will be available for pre-order starting Saturday, 8 March 2025. The pre-order period lasts two weeks, with the official release date set for 22 March 2025.
Snarlboss / Frazzlegit Shaman on War-wheela review
The Snarlboss on War-wheela can alternatively be built as a Frazzlegit Shaman. The model comes on three medium-sized plastic frames, with a base size of 105mm oval.
First, you build the chassis of the War-wheela, with the option to position the two Snarlfangs either to the left or right of the yoke.

For the Snarlboss, you glue two Frazzlegit symbols to the sides of the wagon, attach a torch and banner pole with one of two spikes, and a small attachment with moondust jars that are ignited by a small Snotling. The wagon driver has a specific head, and you also have the choice between a helmeted and unhelmeted head for the Snarlboss himself. The yoke gets a spike typical for the Snarlboss.
The Frazzlegit Shaman build decorates the sides of the wagon with furs and installs a mast with a large animal skull, on which the shaman is placed. The shaman himself has two arm variants with different scepters, and there is also an alternative head variant for the driver and an alternative yoke spike.
Gitmob Doom Diver Catapult unboxing
The Doom Diver Catapult is based on a classic Warhammer Fantasy / The Old World model, now mounted on a mobile platform. The vehicle reminds me a bit of the Grot Rebel desert vehicles from Gorkamorka, if anyone remembers that. The kit contains three medium-sized plastic frames, along with a 170mm oval base.

You can build the Doom Diver Catapult’s large sling either drawn back or straight in the firing position. The wagon driver at the helm has two head variants. The two waiting pilots each have two head variants, plus there are three heads for the pilot being launched. There are no cosmetic options for the catapult itself, but there is a small optional Snotling.

Final Verdict
The Gitmob sub-range of the Gloomspite Gitz is now rounded off with two centrepiece models. These include a new leader on War-wheela and a reimagined version of the classic Doom Diver Catapult. True to Gloomspite Gitz style, the kits are somewhat overloaded and packed with detail, which is part of the charm of the little greenskins. The catapult, in particular, stands out, which is surprisingly large and expansive thanks to its mobile platform, although this is also reflected in the price.
