Prepare to witness the regal presence of Sekhar, Fang of Nulahmia, as she takes centre stage in this showcase post. Follow along my painting guides to capture the essence of Sekhar’s dark allure and her serpentine companion, Ouboroth, painted to match my Legion of Blood and Nighthaunt collection.

Painting Sekhar was a lot of fun. I appreciate that the model isn’t overloaded with details, and instead lets the composition and expressive silhouette speak for itself.

For painting, I kept Sekhar, her snake Ouboroth, and the base separate. However, don’t make the same mistake as I did and dry fit the model several times. When assembling, Sekhar’s legs have some play, and I only realized after painting that the legs were not correctly aligned. As a result, I had to tear off one of the legs and reattach it, and heat the plastic with a hairdryer to get it into the correct position. Fortunately, it’s not too noticeable on the finished model. You’ve done it right if Sekhar’s cloak makes contact with the snake’s back.

Cinematic shot of Sekhar, Fang of Nuhlamia in a graveyard setting

As the first named character from Neferata’s court, Sekhar, Fang of Nulahmia, is the perfect addition to my Legion of Blood Soulblight Gravelords collection. Here you can see her surrounded by some Fell Bats I painted a while ago, which you can also find in the Fangs of the Blood Queen box. I love the model so much, it was an “impulse” paint job for me, it’s my model of the year 2024 so far.

How do you like Sekhar, have you perhaps already acquired her for your collection? Feel free to leave a reaction, or drop a comment below, I’m also happy to answer any questions on our friendly hobby Discord server. Thanks a lot, and happy hobbying!
