Next up is classic power armoured Marneus Calgar. It was one of the first Marine models I bought and I really want to do him justice this time. All the old Marine metals are a bit smaller than current ones so I glued a 1 mm plasticard spacer under his feet and hid them with sand.

Stahly is the founder of Tale of Painters. He lives in Craftworld Hamburg, located in the north of Germany, where he walks the Path of the Graphic Designer. He transitioned from Lego to Games Workshop models at the tender age of 11 and didn't look back ever since. He is known for bold colour schemes and sharp edge highlights, which he paints with typical German perfectionism (one of the reason he is such a notoriously slow painter).
Very cool start, looking forward to seeing how Calgar turns out as the only painted version I've ever seen of him in PA is the old one in the Marine codex.
