Such a long time since the last Tales from the Network, the semi-regular feature on Tale of Painters, but here we go! This is the place where we will present you the best posts from our friends and fellow bloggers from the ever-growing Tale of Painters Blog Network. We had some great additions to the Network since the last update, so here we go:
- Here we have some beautiful Black Templars from Team Snake Eyes.
- A unit of Vargheists with an unusual paint scheme by elfordminis.
- A great tutorial for Necron themed crystal bases by Aurelius Legion.
- Rust in the City is painting a scratch built Deathkorps demolition expert.
- Lately we had Sigur posting his Epic stuff. If you enjoyed those then check out these Epic Eldar warriors by Miniature Miscellany!
- WarLlama40k has a tutorial for kitbashing a Thunderhawk out of two Storm Ravens, a Vindicator and some IG tank bits – cool!
- An impressively painted Space Wolf Lord in Terminator Armourby the unrealistic artist.
- Finally an oldschool Chaos Space Marine Sorcerer by Travelling the Immaterium.
Don’t miss the latest hobby updates from the Network by checking out the widget on the right – there are more cool posts hidden there that aren’t covered here!

Stahly
Stahly lives in Craftworld Hamburg, located in the north of Germany. He has been involved with Warhammer since childhood and has painted several armies and countless warbands and kill teams over the decades. When he's not painting miniatures incredibly slowly, he's writing tutorials and testing the latest miniature paints, hobby tools and kits. He founded Tale of Painters to pass on his knowledge and bring inspiration to your hobby.
Thanks Blaise, I changed the post!
Thanks for the Rust and the City shout out. The finished model should be up later this week.
Some great models there. Unfortunately the link to the thunderhawk actually goes to the epic eldar..:(
Thanks for featuring my Chaos Sorcerer guys, was a pleasant surprise seeing this when I logged on to the blog today.
Thanks for the links, some great models to admire there.
I just wanted to let you know that the Thunderhawk does not actually lead to the tutorial, but instead to the Miniature Miscellany blog.
