Have you ever painted a peacock feather before? Me neither – but it was worth a go, and it didn’t turn out too terribly! I actually quite enjoyed this guy, and had to do a bit of research into what peacock feathers and ravens actually looked like – but it was a fun miniature. The cloack has a glaze of tamiya clear red, water and GW laihman medium on it which I’m really pelased with. More angles (not angels, despite time of year) after the clickety.

I'm not sure the peacock feathers quite work – not because of colours or your painting, but because peacock feathers have a very distinctive shape, which are quite different from those. Paint-wise, they look great, and colour-wise they are also great.
The red on the cloak is superb! Really rich and luxurious, and it ties well with colours of the feathers and the white/metals on the model.
Anyway, I really like what you've done with this fig, and apologies for the pedantry on the peacock feathers! ;0)
Amazing paint job! Those feathers are awesome.
Nice! I especially like the way the cloak came out.
