Today’s capital ship is the steam-powered, airship launching dreadnought – Grimnir’s Thunder!
I won’t pretend that I’m particularly fond of the new design
concept that Dwarfs built EVERYTHING from metal or stone but in the
context of Dreadfleet, this one fits in rather nicely (by not really
fitting at all 😉
). Very straightforward ship and, looking back at the review game in
2011, I remember that many of the players had their mind set on
commanding this vessel so we had to roll for who would get to be its bearded captain.

Great job Sigur! I remember painting this model for my set. It was nice and simple and acted as a kind of turbo boost, I flew through it so quickly I could start another ship straight away.
