I have a soft spot for these models. I think they look really alien. I love the scaly hides and the bulbous heads perched on tiny turkey like necks. I recently painted eight Genestealers and these three warriors are the last models to paint to complete the legendary 1992 classic Tyranid Attack boxed game. I want to finish this project so I can tick the box and concentrate on my Necrons and Black Legion.

Wow, those are really fun! They definitely look more alien than the current Tyranids. The color scheme you chose is ace.
They do look brilliant, and I agree about the models. I love this warrior design more than any other incarnation for just that sense of more alien nature. GW used to have a pretty good feeling for the further limits.
They look great! I have a soft spot of the models too, they were the first tyranids I had ever seen back when I started around 2nd edition! It is really nice to see them painted so nicely, particularly with that classic red scheme.
