The Tesseract is growing. I’m painting it part by part and gluing it together once each part is complete. This week I’ve managed to paint all the supports and coils. The supports were very time consuming and painted by hand. I’m getting a bit bored of this project now because it’s too much of the same thing. There are a couple more pics after the jump.

hi garfy, i've fallen in love with this model, any chance you'll explain how to convert it?
I'm not sure I understand. All I've done is glue magnets where I want to take parts apart.
It looks great,keep going.
Looking great! Can't wait to see it completed 😀
Lovely paint job there Garfy, I especially love the rust on the metal, is the recipe for that on the tutorial for painting your necrons, just for future reference. Also did you get my e-mail? Thanks.
Yes the rust is in the necron tutorial and there is also a review on the modelmates rust paint on tale of painters as well.
Replied to your email. Thanks.
The effect you have on those stone sections is just awesome.
The stone on the base is just drybrushed with greys. It's nothing special but thanks for the kind words.
So you can actually build this with a removable Ctan then? Are you magnetising it? or is it yet to be glued in?
Yes, as in my previous posts I mentioned I've magnetised the C'tan. Basically it means I have a C'Tan model for normal 40k games.
Ah, so you did. Any chance you can give a little info on how you magnetised it? I'm tossing up buying this thing but would like to know what I'm getting myself in for, for using the Ctan on it's own and possibly the Vault as a proxy Monolith. (I'll probably never play an Apoc game, but want this Ctan as a regular Shard)
Keep going, its looking awesome!
Thanks, I just need to keep chipping away at it.
