As well as the War Hydra I painted up the new Kharibdyss. Out of the two I definitely prefer the Hydra, but still like this model even though I think its a little kooky looking. I went for a sickly dead fish look for the skin as opposed to the bright blue GW colour scheme. Personally I think it turned out looking pretty alright.
What do you think? Do you prefer the Kharibdyss or Hydra variant as a model?

Really like the paint job and choice of colors. May well have to steal this scheme for my one. Fantastic
Its basically just black airbrushed lightly on top of the white, and then a satin gloss spray on top. Hope that helps.
How do you do the glossy/slimy black and blend that into the white underbelly? I love that look.
Looks fantastic! Nice work, quick question if I may, how did you achieve the blood effect on the mouths and claws?
Hi, its basically Tamiya clear red and GW Nuln Oil mixed together. Garfy did a pretty good tutorial ..

Hope that helps 🙂
Thanks a bunch 😀
I think your paint scheme really captured the 'horror feel' of this model.
Looks awesome ..
