The first batch of ten Gretchin are complete. Thirty left to go. I apologise in advance if over the next few weeks it gets a bit dull just seeing WIP and Showcase posts of one piece plastic models but please stick with me and I’ll try to make each post interesting. To make this one interesting I’m going to share a tip with you guys. A really easy way to give your Grots red lips and noses is once you’ve finished painting the green skin apply Citadel’s Bloodletter Glaze to the areas you wish to redden. It’s really effective. I also do this to the eyes. First paint the eye white and then paint Bloodletter Glaze on and around the eye. Easy!

Very nice. I especially like the freehand patterns on the sleeves that add diversity. Skin and the textures on the gun metal also look great.
Great work. How did you do the bases? They look great. I'd like to try something similar on my current Gorkamorka project.

Am amazed at how models I really dislike look great. Not enough to try painting my own mind but very impressed.
that red glaze is a brilliant technique. Have you tried it on humans? I'm a little worried it'll make my Sargent look like a cross dresser.
