I’m so pleased I didn’t have to buy paint for this project. I also had plenty of spare flock so I didn’t have to buy that either. So far this project has cost me nearly £70. The paint and flock would have pushed it closer to £100. This doesn’t even include the models! That’s why it’s important for me to lavish lots of time on this project and do the best I possibly can. With the basing materials glued in place I feel like the project is nearly done. Detail work left to do. Show me your support in the comments to help me over the line.

Really like it and can't wait to see the finished product. Out of interest what was the biggest cost of all the components?
The wood. I bought several sheets which cost me over £30. The foam core boards were reasonable. A1 sheet for under a fiver iirc. GW black spray was a bit of a shocker. Haven't bought it in ages because I buy vallejo surface primer and use it with an airbrush. I thought a can would be quicker. It was just shy of £10.
Nice work Garfy just need a snotling in a cage (dwarf miners sprue has one I think) and a fire pit (hirst arts cavern accessories mould has a good one) with a discarded animal carcass (half eaten of course) to finish that look. Finish line is in sight only that final hurdle to go the you can honour us all with a final showcase post
Showcase is going to be special. I've made a video. My first for tale of painters. Hoping to premiere it this Sunday. There will be the usual Photographs as well (just in case the video is poor).
WAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagh!
The only proper response to such a great board!
Wow very nice!
Garfy,
The whole thing looks great. I love the fortress gate, and it all looks appropriately "Orky"!
