Heyhey, Sigur here. Here’s an early WIP of my Blood Bowl team. The skin is mostly done, just got started on the armour. The black basecoat on the trousers, shoes and shirts will also be very much incorporated into the colour scheme as base colours.

Thanks, guys!
Say, did anyone of you have a problem with looking at the full sized picture? When I click it it tried to download a weird "p.txt".
@Jett Tibbetts: Thanks, mate. I like the fellas quite a lot as well. This is what a GW Orc should look like. 😉
@Rigtje: Cheers. You really should. I had my first proper game last week and it's a good'un. I'm pretty sure people are quite right in ranking Blood Bowl (along with Space Hulk) as the best rules sets GW have ever put out.
@Smithy2727: Thanks for dropping by again! The evening I got these models I started looking around for metal Orcs from 2nd/3rd edition, but it seems to be pretty hard to find any for reasonable prices. Would love to own the full Orcland Raiders box of course, but that's most probably out of the question. That being said, last week I acquired some more BB Orcs from my gaming buddy (two more plastic Blitzers, one more plastic Blorc Blocker and two metal Orcs who I assume technically are linemen, but compared to my other guys they look so well armoured that they may as well work as Blitzers OR Blockers).
The first game was rather educational. I got battered (in several regards), as was to be expected. My opponent's Wood Elves weren't quite finished, so I went up against the human team from the box. They scored a very fast touch-down. Fans were very enthusiastic, giving me an extra re-roll for the first half. The whole game took place in pouring rain which led to a few very slap-sticky sequences of people trying to snatch the slippery ball, but not getting a proper grip.
The fans achtually were probably the most interesting thing about the game. They started out very enthusiastic (for my team even), then I made a grave mistake: A human player was a bit clumsy and hurt himself, so three orcs tried to help him up in which course he got badly hurt. That happened twice. Fans interpreted that as fouls (which I can assure you they clearly weren't 😉 ) and got very grumpy.
After the second touchdown scored by the humans someone threw a rock at one of my players, knocking him out. Beginning of the second half there was a pitch invasion and my team got beaten up horribly. I wouldn't have taken BB fans for paragons of fair play, but it looks like they are.
All said and done, as the dust settled and the second half actually started I had four guys (out of the original 11) standing upright, two on the ground, the rest were dead or gravely injured. We played some more turns, the humans scored another touch-down and the game ended 3-0 for the humans.
Very interesting game, that BB. Twice I made the big mistake of trying to slip through close to the side lines. I think I'd enjoy the game more if it wasn't for that darned ball. Orcs' armour vaule is amazing.
I thought those colours looked good on a single figure, but it looks amazing across a (admittedly WIP) team, Sigur. They'll really stand out. Have you thought about getting some of the metal orcs from the same era to fill out the team? The two sets integrate really well and a couple extra Black Orc Blockers would harden up your line of scrimmage.
The team is looking good so far Sigur! Man, I still have to play the game one day!
Love that orange with their green skin. I'm pretty fond of those old models as well.
