I spent some more time on my Haemonculus. I was quite busy this week so I wasn’t able to complete him yet, but hope so to do this weekend. Working on the flayed skin was quite fun. I painted the cloak like described in this tutorial, then thinned Carroburg Crimson and Reikland Fleshshade with Lahmian Medium and glazed random panels with the thinned washes while also leaving some unstained. This way I added some subtle variations to the skin (the differences are a bit hard to spot on the picture above I admit). What do you think?

Could you do a tutorial on how to paint the vials. Haven't been able to master that half filled look.
Unfortunately I already finished this model. But when I get around painting some Wracks I'll do a tutorial for them including the vials. Will take some time though, a couple of months at least.
Thanks so much! I'll keep an eye out.
Masterful work so far.
