Hi all, Banzai1000 here with a quick look at my rendition of the Ironjawz Megaboss – and a question for you after the jump.
So here is my version of this excellent Megaboss model. I decided to paint him with a lot of constrasts, while avoiding yellow, red or blue. Instead I chose a more pink colour scheme.
But now I have no idea how to name his war clan. Maybe you could help out!? Leave a name suggestion in the comments.

Thanks a lot, we appreciate any help to continue and grow Tale of Painters 🙂
I'd also like to know what the scheme is for the blue armor and ork skin
I'm doing a purple armor army as well. What is the base, layer, and highlight color you used for the purple. These look FANTASTIC!
Love the color – looks like a nasty bruise! My tiny Waaagh is similar, more purple than red/pink (and far more crudely painted); I call them the Blakk Eyez. These guys could easily be the Bludd Eyez
Never thought of getting that much feedback…. Thank you very much for excellent suggestions!
I know it's more pink than red, but what about the "Scarlet Raiders" or "Sun Breakers"….."Gore Bringers"?
Just a few off the top of my head 🙂
Thx for that excellent suggestion. Gore Bringers sounds good to ne;)
Sounds good to me, of course :)))
My clan iz called "Da Skyrock Clan" or " Da Skyrockerz" as we like to say sometimez.
But why´s that, you litte `umie dare to ask?
Cause back in the dayz a ´uge rock fell off the sky, right into the middle of our camp. It was full of dat magical blue steel u see in my armour. Damn hard stuff to beat into shape. But good in a bashin`.
It´s some gift from Gork our Shaman sayz.
Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagh!!!!!!
Excellent suggestion, Thank you very much:)
Those red(ish) armour plates look amazing. Whatever you name his clan, please keep that throughout!
Thx, i will 😉
Fantastic paint job – any chance of a recipe for the skin colour? I'm looking for a similar style for my Ghurk Glott and have so far drawn a blank!
Hey thx! After a Black undercoat i first sprayed some White from above to define the shaded areas. As base color i used Ogryn Camo, washed with Ashtonian Camo Green Shade. Then i mixed Ushabti Bone into the Ogryn Camo; more and more for the highest areas until i was satisfied.
