Hi all, Banzai1000 is back with some Emperor’s Children from the age of the Horus Heresy. More after the jump…
The Contemptor Dreadnought from Forge World is the fourth Contemptor Dreadnought I painted so far. The colour scheme is more pink because I prefer it over the purple colours you always see.
Initially I tried a purple palette on the Cataphractii Captain of the Betrayal at Calth boxset, but in my opinion it came out way too dark.
So I switched to a more pink palette and came out with what is shown above. Hopefully there is more to come…
What do you think? Anybody else out there with the Emperor’s Children? Please leave a comment…

Hi, i used Sreamer Pink washed with Druchii Violet then mixed with Pink Horror. Edges done with Celestra Grey mixed with White.
Hey love the paint job! Can you tell me what colors you used for the armor? Thanks!
Hey JiunnTai,
I startet with layers and drybrushed the last stage following the three color rule. Easy than that..:)
Hate Emperor's Children with a passion especially Eidolon. In saying that, nice paint Job Banzai. Did you get the graduation on the amor with dry brushing? Pardon the open liner my friend =)
