This months addition to my Stormiest is complete. It’s my first character for the force, a Knight Vexillor. More pics after the jump.
With so many great models being released by Games Workshop at the moment it’s hard to stay focussed on a single project. The Stormcast Eternals are holding my attention though. I really like the bigger, chunkier scale and clean armour lines. They’re really nice to paint.
The army so far! Two units and a character! I think next month I might buy a unit of Judicators. I really like the armoured archer look. Not sure wether to go bows or cross bows though.

I really love your unique Stormhost, the contrasting colours all blend into a cohesive whole and look great across the force. The nebula effect on the top of the standard is a lovely touch, how did you achieve that?
Look great
I like the yellow and black, the army looks great and very eye catching. The yellow is a great substitute for gold.
The white parchments instead of tan/beige is genius, quite original, not overpowering but dissimilar to the yellow so it doesn't blend in.
And the purple…
I love that, great spot colour, beautifully done, but because of the desaturated hue it doesn't overwhelm the rest of the figure. It draws the eye without dominating the overall finish.
Another class act.
ps what colours did you use on the banner please?
I got say this is one of my Favourite Stormcast models. I like the fact that Sigmar doesn't decide who becomes a Knight Vexillor and is determined by an arena match with the last one standing being the Knight Vexillor.
It really is great seeing more Stormcast on the blog =) As always Garfy, nice clean and great contrasting colours.
