Quick post today with a Ultramarines Hunter vehicle. I really enjoyed working on this as its quite a simple model compared to a lot of the more detailed models coming out these days.
It was refreshing break. I used a lot of the techniques for painting vehicles that can be found in Forge Worlds Imperial Armour painting book guides. These books are well worth a look or any WW2 painting guide books to be honest. The same techniques are used. What do you think?

Not sure why the vision slit had smoke residue around it.
Ooh yes that looks nice, gritty, battleworn. I prefer this look to the 2nd Edition bright colours, but that’s down to personal choice. Very “mono” colour scheme, black and blue, maybe the lenses would benefit from red? Or the dirt more brown? Great as is mind you! Don’t change it on my behalf lol
I really dig the weathering around the corners! But it looks like there's a bit blue still on the aqullia – I'd think no son of Ultramar would have a dirty aquilla…
Ouch, yes I see it. Urggghhh 🙂
