The final model of my Ultramarines rework project: a Captain in Terminator Armour. One of the newest additions to my collection, he only needed minimal work. Check out more pictures after the jump.
I just needed to change a few details for a better consistency across the army. I changed the Crux Terminatus from white to gold, like on my other Terminators, added a turquoise glow to the sword and iconography to his left kneepad, like I did on my rendition of Sicarius.
The Terminator Captain is supposed to represent Agemman, Captain of the First Company, and rival of Sicarius. Back then when I painted the model, the plastic Tartaros Terminator kit wasn’t out yet, otherwise I would have given him his iconic plasma blaster, which he inherited from Invictus.
This is it. My whole Ultramarines collection has been repainted and brought up to scratch. It took a while, but it was worth it. I’m finally “free” to work on something that isn’t blue. I started working on an Autarch for my Craftworld Iybraesil, and got a whole lot of other ideas, so it definately won’t get boring here. I’ll try to provide you with a group shot of my Ultramarines soon, so stay tuned.
