Hope you had some nice festive days and found lots of hobby presents under your tree (or whatever your customs are 😉 Anyways, another update on Zarbag’s Gitz. They are a lot of fun to paint and the upcoming Gloomspite Gitz release makes them even more exciting to work on! The Grot with the net is done, and he’ll serve as the test model for the remaining bunch. As you can see, I try to incorporate more yellow as on the ‘Eavy Metal versions. My recipe is a basecoat of Averland Sunset, shading with a wash of Fuegan Orange, then edge highlights with Vallejo Game Color Pale Yellow and Formula P3 Menoth White Highlight [you just could mix successive amounts of white into Averland Sunset for a similar result]. What do you think?

I really like it! The yellow adds more of a personal touch to it. When I took a closer look I noticed the lower lips are a different tone of green. It's a really nice touch. Looking forward to seeing more.
Sure, it's a basecoat of Skarsnik Green, then all-over wash of Army Painter Green Tone Ink [Biel Tan Green], then some selective shading with Coelia Greenshade. Then a layer of Skarsnik Green, then two stages of highlights with a mix of Skarsnik Green and Vallejo Game Color Dead Flesh [I guess Krieg Khaki might be close], finally pure Dead Flesh. The lower lips are glazed with Kabalite Green, then highlighted with a mix of Kabalite Green and Dead Flesh.
Many thanks!!! I will try it very soon! If you want to know my recipe (it´s bad you can´t see my miniatures): Skarsnik green base—Biel Tan green Shade—recover base color with Skarsnik green—Highlight with Nurgling green—final highlights with Flayed One Flesh.
Fantastic work! Could you give us your grot flesh recipe?
