In my last post I wrote about how hard the Apothecary was to paint. I’ve thrown in the towel. I got so tired of detailing over white armour that I picked up a different model to paint. This Infiltrator Sergeant sat upon a Get a Grip Basicis my ‘quick win‘ project to keep motivation up. I’m hoping a quick turn around on this model will help with my enthusiasm with the Apothecary.

I've never seen anyone do Dark Angels so well as you. Although I've always been a BA fan, watching your amazing Conquest army grow has slowly started to push me toward Dark Angels. Keep up this amazing work!
Thank you Garfy, i thought it was Armageddon Dust, Screaming Skull… The User/Bot Arslan did it again…annoying
I paint the whole base with steel legion drab (that's where I'm up to with this WIP). Then I paint the rocks with eshin grey, dawnstone. Then I paint the sand with with Zandri dust. Finally dry brush everything with screaming skull.
Are you using a new Basing Colour / Material?
It looks darker then your standard Basing-Scheme (even if you drybrush it with Screaming Skull).
