For some time now, we have been thinking about how we can communicate even better with YOU, our readers and followers. First we thought of a forum, then a subreddit, but then we came to the conclusion that Discord is the best place for our own Tale of Painters community.
There are already a lot of great discussion places out there, but what makes Tale of Painters different from other hobby Discord channels or forums?
- 100% hobby and painting driven
- Every hobbyist is welcome, no matter your level of painting, gender or whatever
- A positive and helpful spirit
- No place for gatekeeping, intolerance, ranting, trolling, or toxic behaviour
Post your models, ask for help and feedback, share your ideas and advice, discuss the latest releases, and interact with the Tale of Painters crew. You can also start a voice chat with fellow hobbyists or turn on your camera for some live painting.
You can also look forward to monthly community painting challenges that we’ll start in March. It will not be about being the best painter, but about motivating each other with monthly goals to finally reduce our pile of unpainted models.
