I’m pleased to see GW chose my Ultramarines to showcase on their “What’s New Today?” blog. Check out this link in case you haven’t already.

Funny how they changed my words when I wrote I stripped and repaint Marneus Calgar. Seems GW doesn’t want you to repaint miniatures but to buy new ones instead.
For the record: I also use Vallejo Black Ink and VGC Steel Blue instead of the Ultramarines Blue/Space Wolves Grey mix but it was clear in my mind that they don’t want to feature products from other manufacturers.

Congrats to you being featured!
Thanks you all, really flattering!
I have been following your blog since a while, its an inspiration to all the old clean style lovers, congratz for this mention.
I saw those pics and was scratching my head… "I know I've seen these before." Then I recalled.
Congrats! It's a beautiful army.
That's very cool! Congratulations!
(What's sadder: their heavy editing, or the fact that it doesn't surprise me?)
Congrats on the "what's new" spread! Everything looked awesome!
Awesome work Stahly! I was excited to see the UM's featured on the website and totally ecstatic when I saw your marines on the page.
Great work.
Your blog is something I enjoy reading several times a week.
Keep up the good work!
I can't believe they are so selective on what to mention… If it makes you feel better none of my stuff ever gets featured, well once like in 2002… I rarely paint new models and frequently paint OOP ones, plus I too use non-GW paint about half the time.
Congrats anyway, probably good for a few new readers, of course the incoming link would have been gold…
As I was reading the "What's new today" post I saw your name and so came here to offer my congrats. Convenient that you put up this post to give me some place to offer them.
Congrats!
Congrats! Getting featured on GW's site is big time!
Very well deserved!
well done and well earned, my friend. I just saw them and they have certainly helped motivate me to select the Ultramarines as my next chapter. Congrats!!
Despite the marketing-friendly metamorphosis of reality, it's still nice to be recognized. The army looks beautiful, too. Congratulations. 🙂
