In this picture you can see the start of my (probably schedule-shattering) Halloween project for 2011. I was inspired to do it because I spotted this little leaflet at my local GW store when I went there for ordering Dreadfleet (expect updates on that soon by the way!) advertising a painting competition they’re doing for Halloween. So I thought I’d join in and do something Halloween-themed for once because Halloween, no matter if you really “celebrate” it in any way or fashion, is just lots of fun.
Of course it’s pretty hard to see anything in the picture for now but you can probably guess the overall look. If you have a good guess feel free to post them in the comments! 😉

I think a pumpkin familiar would be awesome addition to tie it in with Halloween.
hey sigur,
are you planning on going all out on this, painting wise? i remember, back when maxpaint was still online, you once mentioned that you 'd like to stretch your painting muscles at times, doing something fancy and to the best level of your skills.
there have been a few minis of yours, that implied that you can paint to a pretty high level, but choose to stick to the clean and neat looks more in line with painting seen in 'dexes. not that that is a bad thing, mind you, i personally prefer it nowadays. a complete army painted to that standard will always outshine a single top level mini, at least for me. 🙂
i'll keep an eye on this, curious to see where you go with this. 🙂
cheers,
