I’ve been squeezing in around 45 minutes a night to paint this model. I’m really enjoying it, I just wish I had more time to work on it. I’m happy with the muted tones of the Dracoth. I didn’t want it to be bright and colourful. I wanted a dinosaur and I think I got a dinosaur! Brown skin, mustard yellow underbelly and some highlight purple scales makes the creature look different to the stormcast armour but it’s still visually tied to the armour and rider because they share the same colours, they’re just different hues and luminosity. Can’t wait to find some more time to work on this project. It’s got me wondering what the scheme would look like on a Stardrake! Oh and model grips available to purchase here. Thanks.
