I started painting the Doom Rocket armed Warlock Engineer I converted a while ago. He is almost done, apart from some details. Painting went pretty smooth, I enjoyed spending some time on a Skaven model that doesn’t come in batches of five… 😉

Stahly hails from Craftworld Germany and has been involved with Warhammer since childhood. He has painted several armies and countless warbands and Kill Teams over the decades, and founded Tale of Painters in 2011. When he's not painting miniatures incredibly slowly, he's testing the latest paints, tools and kits with German precision and a no non-sense attitude.

@Dims
I've seen a conversion of the Warp Grinder model turned into a ratling gun by removing the drill part and replace it with an assault gun like you, looked very good, too!
YAY – sooo cool. I see just so few really GOOD conversions for Skaven, this is one! I might just steal that idea for my own army 😛 In return: have a look at my Ratling Gun conversion and feel free to steal that 😀
