In an attempt to jump start my hobby again after a lack of personal interest, I decided to pick up a single model on my desk and paint it to completion. I went for a quick gaming standard instead of putting any serious effort into it. Reasonably pleased with the model. I quite like the base, and the bone swords have a nice soft bone look which came out well. Two more to paint to complete the squad.

Very nice work there, Garfy. 🙂 A weird thing I just noticed is that seeing this model on a round base looks somewhat weird to me because I still got the picture in my head of them sitting on square bases. 😉
Great paintjob for a not so great miniature, in my opinion. The overall posture looks just off to me.
It took me a while to remember where I had seen this head before – and than I thought of the old live-action trailer with Space Wolf Terminators against a Genestealer infestation. At the same time awesome and terrible. Anyone else remember that?
Great paintjob! I remember when these first appeared in the Advanced Space Crusade game, and was amazed how you could see the organs behind the separate chest piece.
